    Hello Chaps,
Got a bit of a chromakey nightmare going on here.
Got some footage from 2 sources – Sony EX-1 and a tiny JVC Everio.

Both Blue/Green screen shoots. Can actually key the JVC stuff quite well with Vegas’ built-in Chromakeyer, but not perfectly. So I used Boris FX chromakeyer and its Excellent! The problem is that in the Vegas preview monitor, I get a messy red outline,(similar to a broken-up “stroke” effect in Photoshop. Thinking this was the fault of the low quality images from the JVC, I tried the footage from the EX-1 (Which was shot in a commercial studio with exctremely good lighting setup) and got a slightly worse effect. Now I get bright yello/green and red pixels all over the background (none of which are visible in the Boris preview window) and I can’t get the Vegas Preview window to update whilst adjusting the settings in Boris.

I think it must be Spill suppression, or bad Alpha at least getting into Vegas, but not sure what to do now.

    Anyone have a similar experience?

    Many Thanks in advance,
    B.
