I tried Boris FX in Vegas 6 and the problem it had is that when you make a transition between two clips of any length, then enter boris and choose which effect, you have to specify the exact length because it always defaults to one second. If you then return to vegas and change the length of the transition Boris just renders the original length then creates a still image for the remainder. I talked to Boris and they said it was a problem with Vegas, that it just didn’t relay the transition length to the Boris plugin.
My question is does anyone here use Boris FX and is that fixed in Vegas 7? I’d love to start using Vegas on a regular basis at work but that one issue really hinders my efficiency. Thanks in advance!

My guess is that the interaction is exactly the same. I have not tested it but have seen nothing that would indicated otherwise.
