Ah, that explains it. I was hoping that the Continuum Complete 3 CD update listed in that section was targeted at 5.1 issues, but it’s probably a different solution for a different problem. I suppose that means an upgrade is necessary.

Wait a minute, there is a patch for RED, and I installed that and followed the instructions and my RED’s not working either – would a BCC4 upgrade help my RED at all?

Reinstalled the Patch and made sure the Caps things was followed. Thought I did it right last time but it works right now.

Glad it’s working now. Hopefully this will get addressed soon. In all fairness to Boris, Apple/FCP changed their plugin structure and caught a lot of people off guard that weren’t already coding in fxPlug with FCP 5.1.x
