    Hello 🙂

holidays are in sight and so I come to my annual question:

What books could You recommend on all topics of our industry.

    So far I’ve got already:
    – Digital Compositing for Film and Video (Steve Wright)
    – The Art and science of Digital Compositing (Ron Brinkmann)
    – Matchmoving (Tim Dobbert)
    – DV Rebel’s Guide (Stu Maschwitz)
    – In the blink if an Eye (Walter Murch)

I am a little more interested in principles and concepts than in Program-Based books. But if there’s a good one for Aftereffects …. why not 🙂

Thanks for any tip or idea!

    Peter,

If it’s AE books you’re looking for, anything by Chris & Trish Meyer are pretty much required reading! “AE Apprentice” & “Creating Motion Graphics in After Effects” are both excellent! Hope this helped!

Also… “The Visual Story: Seeing the Structure of Film, TV and New Media” is a great book for sharpening your visual sensibilities as well!
