Hi all,
After a little dalliance with FCP I’m coming back to Avid as I miss it too much. I currently run on a MacBook Pro laptop and have a Matrox MXO2 LE breakout box with an SD broadcast monitor and a set of PPMs attached.
Now, I know that MC won’t work with the LE box but it will with a Matrox MXo2 mini. The only problem with a mini is it doesn’t have balanced XLR outputs for my PPMs. Does anyone know of an alternative? I can’t afford however many thousands on a Mojo, so is there a low cost alternative?

With Avid you have three, and ONLY three options.
Avid Mojo DX
Avid Nitris DX
Matrox MXO2 Mini
That’s it. The MXO2 mini is the low cost option.
