BM SDI- HDMI converter 1.4 or 1.3 HDMI?

July 10, 2010 at 12:04 pmIf it’s already interleaved in the SDI stream, then it’s just normal video and up to your monitor to decode it. Doesn’t matter if it’s HDMI 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4.
If it’s frame packed 3D HDMI output, then that’s a different story. You will ned a dual stream input anyway and the mini converter does not support that. You are better off looking at the HDLink pro 3D.

July 18, 2010 at 7:45 pmOn the other hand, the BM SDI- HDMI box works great with Avid Mojo DX. No need for the new BM box for with Avid DX boxes.
