  • BM Intensity Pro – Output for progressive Monitor

    Hallo Sirs and Madams

I am trying to convince my Intensity Pro to show 1080p60.

720p60 is possible, but not 1080p60.
Regretably, my progressive Monitor wants 60hz input.

Anyone knows if that may be supported some time?

if not, could there be a workaround, by converting/ “double lining” a i50 picture?
    Thank you for a hint!

I know this post is a few months old, and you’ve probably solved this problem, but came across this,,and I’ve just ordered an Intensity Pro, and was doing some reading.

You can’t output 1080 60p over hdmi, as (as far as I know) there currently isn’t a display that can playback 1080 60p footage. If your monitor is asking for 60hz, that is a refresh rate, and not a frame rate. Digital displays were 60hz for a long time, and they last few years have been changing. LCD tvs are now at 120hz, and 240hz, and I think plasma tvs are at 600hz (notice all multiples of 60)

    thanks. i got that finally.
my monitor was at 50hz and 60hz without a scaler or so.
the only thing that helped, and i think one of the cheapest solution was a BM hdlink.
it takes whatever comes from sdi and outputs progressive at the refreshrate needed.

and for the sake of completeness:
no deinterlace neither with hdlink nor any decklink. it just passes the fields on. and hdlink flattens it.

    cheers
