    hello,
    how can i blur on-screen graphics in ae 6.5?
    i know how to blur the entire film, but how can i make a selection of it in order to blur one corner of the film only?

    try using a “compound blur” either on that layer or on an adjustment layer above… check out the help files to learn more about compound blur.

    or make an adjustment layer and apply a fast blur, the draw a mask around the area you want blurred. Probably feather the mask. And click “repeat edge pixels” in the effects pallette.
