    Hello.

I have a question about using a green screen effect.

I have already video taped myself with a cruddy walmart webcam and its a small 30 sec video of me.

I basically am experimenting and want to get an idea of how it works.

So I have a vid now (with poor lighting), that I can bring into after effects. My question is to obtain a premultiplied effect and negate the green color behind me (a bed sheet, lol), what in after effects must I do?
Is there a way to convert a video to individual TGA files?

If anyone can help I would really appreciate this alot. Thank you very much.

well the best method would probably be to use the keylight plugin which is included in After effects from version 6.5 i think or maybe even earlier. For a good tutorial on keying dv footage with keylight see this one on basic color keying

be advised that it will be very difficult to obtain a clean key from a poor quality webcam video especially with poor lighting. If your unable to key it you may have to result to rotoscoping which can be very tedious.
