blue ray settings
I am trying to burn a dvd (mpg2), but vegas 9 defaulta to Blue Ray. I have tried many changes of settings but the Blue Ray (BD)always overrides so I can’t play the DVD.

Have you tried Tools | Burn Disc | DVD…?
That will make a DVD.

yes I have tried the options under tools. There area variety of CD choices and Blue Ray, no DVD option.

It sounds like you may have a corrupt install because the DVD options has been there long before Blu-ray. I would re-install and see if it clears things up. If not, you may have to contact Sony. That menu item should just be there.
