  • Blue cast to texture when using luma matte

    Hi,

I’ve luma matted a textured solid to my text but it’s shifting the colour of the texture. Creating a blue hue. The problem is, I’m transitioning to this white texture on the following frame, but the colour shift is throwing it off. Please see below.

On my next frame, I’ve tried to replicate this blue hue by luma matting my texture again but it doesn’t have any effect. I’ve also tried colour correcting it but again it has no effect on the matte.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Just a bit more context. The animation is a zoom into the text as a transition to my white textured background.

Any ideas for a workaround? Driving me insane!

    Thanks

Since you seem to have a blue background I guess the bleeding stems from there. Check for any not full black/white areas in your matte, since any grey area, that might look white or black to the naked eye, will make the luma matte semi transparent
