    Hi All,

Here we go with another format blu-ray. I am about to start making blu-ray projects, but wanted to know if we will have the problems with play back like what we had with dvds? Is there a #1 brand that you guys are using now to make your blu-rays or any brand will do?

…from my point of view, the most important thing to do (besides quality between bluray brands) is to check with your customer if his Blu Ray player CAN play the format you’re going to “burn”… if you’re going to burn a BD-R disc, just check for compatibility in the operator manual of the player….

one 100 % compatibility option for viewing and distributing “bluray” spec. video is through the WD media player, although you don`t have a disc (no fancy menus), you can play any high quality 1080p file (recorded on a USB unit) through the HDMI port to any HDTV with excelent quality… and maybe can “include” the player for the customer as part of the final product…

    good luck
