I am looking for an internal Blu-ray burner for my Mac Pro. Does anyone have experience with the LG burners? And if so, what software are you using to burn?

    Thanks for any feedback.

Can’t say I have any experience with LG but I did purchase a Pioneer BR-DL burner from the videoguys.com for just a little over $200 and I can burn a 50 gig disc in less time than I can a standard 4.7 gig DVD. Great investment!

I have an external LG burner (the BE08LU20)

It works beautifully and is very fast (using eSATA). I just burn basic discs with Compressor or Toast.
    Have not tried Encore yet.

I would imagine their internal drives would perform similarly (the external is just an internal drive in an enclosure, really).
