I have not encountered too much of this. Occasionally someone signs up and their only post is obvious spam.
Got this reply to a blog:
https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/295/4052?wfid=244&wpid=4036If you google the exact text of the message, you find millions of results – seems to be a common spam tactic – make it look like an actual message but is generic enough to appear anywhere and not raise flags.

Appreciate you letting us know. We try to catch these but occasionally one will slip through the cracks. It’s been removed.
