    Hi,
Anyone know how to block access to system drives etc in FCP? I want to stop my many users selecting their network home folder as their scratch disc. Currently I am making them log in locally to do video, and have a network account if they want internet access. I use an OS X server “magic triangle” AD OD bind and MCX settings to manage access at the moment but this is quite complex when each application has a number of hidden “helper” apps, and a bit over the top. Avid has this built in but I cannot find this in FCP.
It can be done in FCP right?

This is just to stop users setting the system or network home as the scratch disc.

ps I did do a scan of the list but nothing too helpful was obvious. May help other studio manager.
