Hello, I’m doing a short film in the future and I just ordered a Audio-Technica AT8415 Shockmount. Can you guys point me to an inexpensive zepplin source? I’ve got some airconditioner foam. Know where I can find fake fur?
Hope this doesn’t sound retarded – Thanks Craig

Forgot to mention the mic. It’s a K6-ME67 (That’s the long one – 12inches total)

No offense meant here but you got a nice mic and want to butcher it now? Look at Rycote. They make blimps and fur that work and have a size to fit about anything. You sound will only be as good as your weakest link. You get what what you pay for.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the tip. I’m not sure what you mean by butchering it, but I’ll check out Rycote like you said. Thanks – Raymond

    Raymond,

It is difficult to ask about the less expensive route on this list. There is an obsession with if I paid top dollar I am ok.

Thanks for the help. I ended up making a blimp from chicken wire and puting some fake fur over it. Looks like it will work Ok. We’ll see (or hear) Thanks Craig
