Blending modes in Avid

I used that plugin with Avid Xpress 5.7 a while ago, and I recently tried to install it on MC3.5 and it wasn’t even recognized by the program. It was great, but I don’t believe an updated version for MC 3.0 or above was ever made.

I have not used that plugin but with your included BCC bundle of effects you can utilize the Composite effect. Also the Paint effect has blend modes built in that you could have some fun with. Good luck.

Phil, here’s a link to the DMN Transfer effect I just posted online. I’m using the latest version of Media Composer and it still works great. Just drop the file into the “AVX_Plug-Ins” folder.

I know this post is ANCIENT. But I can not download that plugin!!! I’m trying everything on the DMN site here:

You know, after EIGHT YEARS, that plugin might be removed. I know several FCP Legacy ones that are gone, and only people who have Automatic Duck, the free version released at FCP 7’s demise can give it out..it’s gone from the site.
