Blend live capture with pre-recorded?
Hi,
I’m thinking up a Halloween trick to project at a party I’m hosting and wanted to know if it’s possible.
What I want to do is have a live stream from a webcam showing my bedroom. The feed will be projected in the living room.
I also want to pre-record some spooky stuff from the exact same angle. I would then like to blend the video so that the live capture footage occupies the left 75% of the screen and the pre-recorded occupies 25%. That way I can loop some mysterious appearances of ghosts etc live into the bedroom on the right hand side, as if they were appearing whilst people were sat on the bed, live.
Is it possible to do this?

In Premiere? No. You need vision mixer software – there are about 20 or so programs at varying prices that will mix a live feed with pre-recorded. None are free.
