    hello to everyone,
i have my comp done and i want to add an external frame to it.
i want to use the external part of a film’s negative that i’ve scanned as the frame.
so, i want this film’s negative to move around the comp in a circular way. this means i should distort the negative in the 4 corners so that it would move sticked to the 4 sides of my comp and it should go on loop.
i thought to use an adjustement layer with 4 masks (one for each corner of the comp) and use an effect to distort the negative. and here there is my first problem, i can’t really use a distort effect that can blend the negative in a smooth way (i tried with the Bezier deformation as well and it doesn’t really work). i’m thinking to do a mask and link the negative to that as if it was his path, but i can’t really figure out how.
then the second problem, how can i do a loop of this layout/frame? i can’t really use keyframing cause it’s a closed circle.
any help/suggestion will be REALLY appreciated!
    Thanks in advance

ehmmm, i had a difficult time as well to understand what i wrote. sometimes i have this kind of off/on in my brain…
anyway here there is one example: https://www.megaupload.com/?d=S4TZHBUC
here i just used one piece of the film, and i repeated it with a loop expression one each side.
what i want is that the external film frame would be just one piece, that turns around the corner (maybe blending the film frame layer) and that moves itself as a loop.
for this reason i thought to do an adjustement layer with a mask for each corner and apply a blend effect to the adjustement layer. but i canpt really achive a good result.
i hope now it would be clearer…
    any suggestion?
