The BlakcMagic videohub in our facility is giving us fits. It loses power and we lose whatever connection we had at the time. We’ve had a new videohub shipped in but this one is doing the samething. We’ve replaced power cables which also didn’t make any difference.
    Any suggestions?

By ‘losing power’ you mean it switches off? Or does it brown out?

Do you run all your incoming current through a proper UPS system, or at the very least electrical filters to stabilise the fluctuations in the electrical supply?

Are there any large switching devices on the same circuit as your sensitive equipment? (i.e. ovens, large motors etc)

The videohub switches off. No power at all until we disconnect the power going into the board, plug it back in, then it comes back to life. The videohubs power is connected to a UPS along with Apple XRaid, 3 Blackmagic multibridges, DSR-45, PVW-2800 and a HVR-M10U deck.
    Thanks
