    Hi,

This commercial https://vimeo.com/19059282?ab is created entirely with trapcode particles and form (smoke). Comped together in flame.

Anyone has any ide of how this is created? How to make the particles behave this way, with those reflections and what texture is used?

for the glints and reflections, these tutorials show a method to create a similar effect:

    Thank you!

The effect im looking for is like the particles you can see in the commercials, but in a way it looks like they reflects and react to the light in the same way as using the specular-option. The problem is that the specular-option is not available without using textured polygon – and then the shape channges… Any solution anyone?

What do you mean “and then the shape changes”? You can make it be whatever shape you want. And if you mean that as the particles tumble, the perceived shape changes, that’s what it does in the example video. But if you don’t want it to, you can make it so that the particles don’t tumble.
