    Blackmagic Ultra Studio Mini Monitor not working on mac pro and fcp X?

    Just purchased the Ulstrastudio thunderbolt to SDI mini monitor to monitor out of fcpx to a flanders scientific.

    Latest drivers. FCPX comes to a standstill. Playback just stops.

    Any thoughts?

    There have been several posts about this box including mine. I have given up on the box. It was a waste of $150.

    Thanks. I thought as much. It is complete nonsense – it essentially does not function with a mac pro/fcp x combination. I have returned mine for a refund.
