  • Blackmagic Desktop 9.2 Beta 2 – Not working for me

Blackmagic Desktop 9.2 Beta 2 still not working for me.

    I have a 2008 MacPro 2 x 2.8 Quad-Core with 14GB Memory.

Despite completely uninstalling previous software and downloading new beta I’ve still got no options apart from 720×480 NTSC.

It’s a race between Blackmagic Intensity Pro and Matrox MXO2 for me – The first one to get their cards working with FCPX will get the remaining PCI slot on my computer.

You should see a new option in the Black Magc control panel itself (the text below the option actually mentions FCPX). you must first set this to your desired HD setting and THEN the new resolution will show up in FCPX prefs (after restarting the app). Finally you have to turn on AV in FCPX.

Please reply back if this works or not.

    Best,

IT IS WORKING ! No smooth picture but I have at least a monitor out picture. I am using Intensity card pro. Moving parts do not play smooth but picture quality so far seems to be ok. Now I can adjust brightness colors and effects in my outgoing studio monitor. Thanks for that.
First I adjusted under system preferences (there is a black magic icon there). in my case 1080i50. Then i opened FCPX preferences that shows AV output: 1920×1080 @25 but was not changeable. Then under the Window menu in FCPX turn on a/v output.
