    Hello,
    Is it possible at all to install a 2.5″ Hard Disk Drive (NOT SSD) into the unit? Will it work? Physically it’s the same no?

    These don’t work with the hyperdeck. Don’t expect them to work with the Camera. Certainly wouldn’t be useable for RAW recording.

    They might plug into that slot, but the data rate on an SSD is higher than the spinning disc version of a Hard Drive. That data rate is what you need to get those recordings to work.

    Even if it did work,one bump on the camera, you could lose your entire hard drive.

    That wouldn’t sit well with too many clients.
