    Hi everybody!

I’m having a bit of a problem. I just received a music video for color correction, encoded with the blackmagic codec. I’ve downloaded the codec from blackmagic’s site, but I can’t get After Effects (or premiere for that sake) to read the file. The audio plays out fine, but it can’t read the video. (VLC, however, does).
I’ve tried copying the codec into AE’s codec-folder, but that didn’t do it either.
Any of you have any idea how I might get this to work?

I do not have any of the blackmagic hardware, I just need AE to work with the file.

    Best regards,
    Kenneth

Open the file with QuickTime Pro…

If it can see it.. re-export the clip as an Animation file
