  Black when capturing HDV w Firewire in a BM system

  Although this may not be specific to BM systems only, I do remember reading somewhere that if one has a capture card (like BM, AJA whatever) installed, and one is capturing HDV over Firewire using the HDVi50 easy setup, then the log and capture shows black and no picture. Also, stuff captured is black, no picture?

  Is this still so? And if so, does installing a MBridge circumvent this?

  Is anyone with a BM HDPro or Extreme or some other PCI card, actually capturing HDV over Firewire ?
