    Hey all,

About to start a project – 1hour doc – shot on HDV and XDCAM. Looking to at HD to my 8-core Mac Pro.

I like the AJA IOHD but don’t like the price and really don’t need to capture or output as assistants will be doing all of that outside of my facility. I just really need to be able to edit in full HD and preview on a client monitor in a cost effective way.

Any experiences with these cards would be most appreciated.
    thanks
    Mustafa

    Hi Mustafa,

I chose the Multibridge route, and so far I’m happy with it. By buying the MBPro I saved over £1000 on a similarly specced AJA offering, and so far, for what I need, the BM product is fine. Picture quality is excellent, functional integration with FCP great and build quality, whist IMHO not quite as good as AJA, is nevertheless fine.

    HTH

    Jason
