Black line on left of clip?????

Audio Mix = Mackie 1604 VLZpro
I believe I have the stock display card
Panasonic AJD-230H DVCpro deckI have recently upgraded to FCP5 from 4.5. I just happened to notice a black line on the left edge of my clips. This was not there before. I brought in an old project from 4.5 and the line was not on the clips, yet my new clips brought in with FCP has this line. Anyone know why?
What are the proper setting with my Decklink extreme?
720×480 or 720×486. The decklink playback does not have a
720×480 setting. I am puzzled.
