Black Footage in FCP from DVCPROHD Tapes
I just captured a few DVCPRO HD tapes from a Panasonic HD1400A into FCP. After a certain point in each video when playing in FCP, either in the viewer or timeline, the picture turns black and I only get audio. Also the video and audio is out of sync and looks like it plays in fast forward from the viewer.
However when I view these files in Quicktime outside of FCP they are fine and play completely through. I need to be able to edit these videos in FCP, any ideas?

Trash preferences, check sequence settings, video output, etc. If it plays fine in QT, chances are there’s nothing wrong with the media.
