Black Eyed Peace ‘The time of my life’- squaring effect
Hi guys, have you seen this new video clip of Black Eyed Peace?
They use one effect very often in this clip. It is like digitizing the part of footage (mostly people). It looks like already available effect on After Effects, the only difference is that the squares are 3d instead of flat 2D. Anyone knows similar plugin to achieve it?

I don’t believe you can acchieve that within AE…
search for voxel effect… you’ll have a bunch of tutorials for your preffered 3d ap.
my guess it that it was modeled, then the textures (clip) were projected over the voxel effect.

Thanks that’s interesting. Will have to see it in examples. So far it looks Voxel is applied to LOGOs and TEXTs mainly. Would need to explore more. Thank you. If any helpful link please post.
