black bars on side of FCP canvas window
Hi,
I created a slideshow in ProShow Producer with my aspect ratio set to 16:9. I rendered an AVI file and imported it into FCP and ended up with black bars on either side of the canvas window. I have the settings of FCP set to NTSC DV with Anamorphic 16:9 checked. I have the aspect ratio in the Motion tab set to zero. Other than scaling the video to 125% (which cuts off the tops of many of my images) what can I do? Did this occur due to some error I made in creating the video file in ProShow? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to alt the aspect ratio distortion – I think it’s about 30?
Or
Select the clip in the timeline, press cmd+9, tick the anamorphic colomn.
