    Black bars issue

    Hi there,

    I’m editing with 4K footage, and need to export the final .mov at 1920×1080.

    My sequence settings are 1080p, and I’ve rescaled the 4k footage to fit within this frame. The problem is when I export. In the timeline there are no black bars to make it widescreen, however everytime I export it automatically adds bars.

    My sequence settings are the same as my export settings so I’m not sure why this keeps happening. The director doesn’t want black bars so I need to fix it.

    Can you post a screenshot of your export settings with the output tab open.
