I’ve been asked to edit some video that has a ratio of 1920×1440 running at 24fps, the format is 10bit uncompressed. My sequence settings in finalcut are set to match every aspect of the source video, however, when I place the video files in the timeline I get black bars at the top and bottom of picture, and have to render the timeline, I can get rid of the black bars by changing the ratio in my sequence settings to custom and making it 1920×1280, but this is not acceptable because of the problems it causes during the edit. Does anyone have any advice? I’m still learning the program so I’m hoping for an easy fix. Thanks
