hmmm. ok i attached a pic of what your canvas setting should be.
oh also are you seeing this problem on an external monitor? that would help to determine if it’s just a local problem with some settings in FCP or if there is an issue with the video stream

Boooyah!!! Problem solved it seems. I didn’t have all the canvas settings right. See, that Ball State degree paid off afterall!!!
