This is a tough one people. Special kudos and chocolate bunny to the person that figures this one out.

    We shoot P2 DVCProHD 720p24.
The footage looks fine in the Log and Transfer Preview Window.
The resulting QT movies look fine when previewed in the Quicktime Player (both 7 and X)
The footage looks fine when previewed using Quicklook in the OSX finder.
The footage looks completely over saturated in both the Viewer and the Canvas windows in FCP.

I’ve taken a quick screenshot with my iPhone:

I’ve trashed the preferences. No luck.
I’ve tried creating a new user account on the same machine but the problem is still there.
    Here’s the real kicker!!!
I’ve opened the project on two other new Mac laptops and everything looks FINE in FCP!!!
It seems that this problem is only happening on the MacPro tower we are using.

The tower specs are MacPro 1,1
    Radeon x1900

    Thanks in advance

    Hi everyone,
    Hi Lou…

I have to say I have the exact same problem.

I shot some footage on the 5D MkII, with cinecolor cinestyle flat profile. I then converted them to Prores_422LT, and opened them into FCP7. the footage on FCP7 is just dark and over saturated…

    FYI:

    1) I installed the Pomfort DSLRLog2Video trial when it came out. Had no problem. Now it expired. Maybe it could be that? How can I uninstall it?
    2) I also installed the LUT Buddy plugin. Could that be linked?

Last thing, I don’t add any filter or anything in FCP7. It simply displays the weirdest colors i’ve even seen in both parts of the viewer.

    Imac 21’5 – I3 – 4GB

    Help please?
    Ta,

    Romain
