Bins won’t open!!!!
I was moving some bins out of a folder (within the project folder) at a desktop level, and when I went back in to the application, I couldn’t open any of the bins that I moved. Where you see the size of the bin in the project window, there is now: “???”.
Now, even at a desktop level, I can’t delete or move the bins in question.
I’ve had to create a new project and find the bins in the attic and bring them in to the new project to continue working. The bins I tried to move will not open in the new project.
Has anyone come across their Avid freaking out like this? Is there anything I can try to salvage the work I did this morning before the bins started playing up? Has the project corrupted or is it the bins?

I found this happens when moving bins into a project folder when the project is open. I always move bins with project closed or Media Composer not running. There used to be a small utility that fixed this somehow. I need to see if I can track it down again. It’s been a while.

If there is a utility to fix this, would be great to know.
Thankfully all my rushes bins are ok, and I have re-created the seq I was working on from eyeballing the BITC on a DVD I ran off, so not lost too much.
Next time I’ll only move bins with the app closed!
