Bin Shortcut
Does anyone know a short cut to create a bin within a bin, ie: make a sub-bin? I hate pressing Apple+B and naming a bin and then having to go find that bin once it gets in it’s alphabetical order and then dragging it into the bin I want to put it (which can sometime be several bins deep. There must be a shortcut, other than double clicking the bin you want it to go in and opening it up in another window and then pressing Apple+B (which is the method I usually use…but is kind of a pain sometimes, especially if that window isn’t selected and the new bin just gets placed at the root anyways. I know this is small, but it is one thing I hate on a constant basis…so hopefully there is someone smarter than me out there with a trick.

Right (ctrl) click inside the bin you want to create a sub-bin in and select new bin

Sometimes its the little things in life that make you happy. Some reason I never thought of that (I always assumed it made a folder in the root of the browser)! Thank you very much Roli, this should be most helpful.
Just curious though, is there anyone out there that knows a keyboard shortcut that will create a bin inside the bin you have currently have selected? Now I’m just being fussy…but I like to use the mouse as little as I can. If not, Roli’s mouse solution will do just fine.

If you have a numeric keypad, you hit option enter (keypad enter, not return) which will open that bin in a new tab, then hit command-b.

Ok, cool. Then I can hit control+w to close the tab once I have created my bins. I like it. Thanks.

Option double click on a bin it opens in a new tab as well.
