Bi-Folding door IK System
Hi Guys
Hope everyone is well!
I was wondering if someone could help me with this problem?…
So I’m trying to animate a bi-folding door. I have a 3-panel bi-folding door system. I have set Door3 (the last panel to open) and Door2 (the middle panel) as an IK System, so that they animate together appropriately. The issue that I am having is that I can’t get the doors to close. This is because the pivot point of the two doors needs to go beyond the IK setup (the IK green line). I have included a diagram of what I am trying to portray.
Is this possible to do with the IK setup or do I have to animate it a different way?

Thank you for this, it’s a big help. I just need to figure out what you’ve done as I am not great with XPresso. I will experiment & familiarize myself with XPresso now that I know this is the way forward.
