    Guys,

    Can’t work out what I’m doing wrong.
    Essentially, all I want to do is import a BG image with alpha (which I see clearly on my stage) then export it and still see it.
    Tried every possible way, but when I import the AVI into my Avid, the BG image with Alpha is no longer there. A BG image without an alpha works fine.

    If you’re saving alpha in the output, the alpha channel is created for the particles only — the alpha of any bg footage is discarded.

    So you’ll need to add that bg footage back at the compositing stage.
