  • Better resolution during playback than pause?

    Hi There,

I am experiencing a weird effect where I am getting a sharper image during playback than during pause to my broadcast monitor – are there any settings specific to image quality separate from playback? I made sure ‘output single frame during pause’ is disabled and still the image noticeably drops in quality / sharpness while pause than during playback.

    Thanks for any tips!

Check your Decklink setting in the system prefs.
    There is a similar option.

I’ve tried toggling ‘remove field jitter when paused’ doesn’t seem to have an effect.

    Problem solved –

Monitor quality filtering was set to ‘Bicubic’ switched to ‘Bilinear’ and problem solved.
