Best/Good settings for my computer?
Hello guys,
I am new to both this webpage and mostly, to the rendering itself. Just about a week ago I started to record videos on my computer using paid version of XSplit Broadcaster (I am recording while I am also streaming) so I am recording in full HD mp4 format.
I also got Sony Vegas 12, 64bit version and I am using it to trim unnecesary parts of video and render it. I am then uploading the videos on the YouTube. So far I was really just trying pre-set stuff at random but I would like to do this more efficiently as I either lose too much of the quality or the rendering takes way longer than it probably should at least when I compare it with multiple times posted on various forums or seen in different YouTube tutorial videos.
Even though I tried few of the settings that multiple users post on YouTube, I never really got the same result as they did, always getting worse or even way worse result on either quality, render time or even both.
My computer specs are:
CPU: Intel i7-4770 3,4GHz with TurboBoost up to 3.9GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 760
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I also have both classic HDD and a SSD.Could anyone tell me what would be the best or at least somewhat optimal settings? And also should I first render it and then manually upload it to YouTube or would the Upload to the YouTube be same/better?
Thank you all very much beforehand.
