I’ve had this issue before, and I’ve never heard anyone explain it, so please try if you can! I have photos that are 1.5-2.5 MB in size, and I’m trying to do the “The Kid Stay in the Picture” effect. Everything looks fine in AE, and when I make movie, the quicktime looks fine. If I import the QT into FCP, all hell breaks loose. The picture buzzes like crazy, I get resolution loss, etc. Why does the QT look so much better than when I import into FCP? I’ve got a big project coming up, and it would really help me out if I could figure out a workflow that works with photos from AE to FCP.

2560X1920 are the sizes of photos. They’re color, with a good deal of detail. I used a Hd codec in AE, and same setting in FCP. Field render was turned off.
