Best workflow practices FCPX to Fusion
Simon,
Thank you for your excellent work and I always enjoy reading your posts. I just installed the free version of Fusion and trying to navigate around it. You mentioned Fusion Clip earlier and I have a quick question. For example, there is a scene that I would like to enhance. What is the best way to export the clip? What is the best codec to use for bringing the clip into Fusion?

I’d recommend that you watch my new tutorial on Fusion Connect here to get an understanding of the basics of how it works:
It’s essentially very simple but there are a few gotchas that it’s worth knowing about. And probably still a few that I haven’t quite got around to understanding myself so please let me know of any problems you run up against.
I suspect BMD have some great new things around the corner for Fusion, so it’s definitely time to watch this space!
