    Hi,
Our camera guys wanted to try and edit with the JVC HD100U.

Can anyone suggest the correct workflow for capturing
the video (either 24p or 30p) into FCP?

I believe 30P works natively. But 24P isn’t supported yet. There are 3rd party options for 24P (LumiereHD
is one that comes to mind- MPEGSTreamClip too?) Not to push you away from the FCP forum (since your
question *is* a FCP question), but there are more Q&As about the JVC FCP workflow over at the HDV forum
here on the COW. You might get a quicker, or better, response.

I used Lumiere HD…a bit clunky…but after a couple trials got it working with HDV 24p from this camera…looked good.

    Best,
    Eli
