best way to recapture back to HDV? FCP6
I am recapturing footage shot in HDV that I downconverted for editing. What is the best route to getting the timeline back to HDV?
At this point I have cut and pasted the timeline from a DV sequence to an HD sequence. When I recapture a clip and reconnect it into the sequence the clip doesn’t come in as HD – instead it comes in as an HD sized clip that is going to be rendered as if it were still the DV original.
Do I need to create an EDL? If so, I have some compicated disolves and more than two tracks of video. Is there an EDL that Final Cut 6 can allow me to import directly with all those video tracks into my new HD sequence and begin batch digitizing?
