Best Way to Put Animated Film on Blu-ray?
I have a Quicktime file of a 13 minute animated film, 1080p, size 125 GB, rendered with the Animation codec.
(Yeah, it’s a big’un.)
I want to put the sucker on a Blu-ray and preserve as much of the quality as I can.
Am I better off making the Blu-ray directly from FCP, or should I do it from Encore? If I use Encore, do I need to start from Premiere?
Again, I want to preserve as much of the detail in the animation as I can, and I haven’t made a Blu-ray before.

Either way is fine.

Do you have Adobe Media Encoder? Use that.

Yes, I have Adobe Media Encoder. Is that better than Encore or Final Cut Pro?

Well, Better is subjective.
Encore – builds DVD’s but does encode as well.
FCP edits video – but will encode on export as well.AME – encodes.
Try em out and see what works best for you.
