    Hi,

What is the best way to overlay a still picture over a video track? I have filmed a person talking and need to place a picture on the wall behind them. The shot was filmd on a tripod so I dont need to move the still picture on screen.

So in summary, my questuion is how do you place a small picture in position over a video? I tried to do this with tracking event pan crop – but positioning the pic that way isnt accurate.Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Mil.

Use Track Motion and make sure you select the 3D Source Alpha option as this allows you to rotate the image in 3D space.
To enable this option , open Track Motion, look in the top left of the box where it says Source Alpha, click the dropdown arrow and select 3D Source Alpha.
If this doesn’t work for you and you have access to Photoshop, use the Transform tool to move/rotate the image as desired.
