  Best way to mix PAL in NTSC timeline?

  Hi all!
  I’m getting ready to start editing a feature documentary and am trying to figure out the best way to attack this project. The film requires mixing PAL and NTSC footage. The first two ACTS of the film is predominantly comprised of PAL media @ 25fps. The third ACT and main interviews were shot at NTSC (23.976). Our final output will be NTSC (23.976). We will work in Premiere Pro CC 2015. DO I need to perform a standards conversion to all PAL media prior to editing? Can I simply drop the PAL media into our main 23.976 working timeline? Or should I interpret the PAL footage to 23.976 within Premiere and then lay into a 23.976 working timeline? I have also heard of audio issues (4% slowing). What’s the best way to remedy that? Any help will be much appreciated!
