I am onlining a 26 part drama series on FCP shot on DVCam…
My producer wants to have a dvd of each episode at the highest possible quality…

Should i use DVD Studio Pro??? If so which settings should i use to export with? Should i make an FCP movie and use compressor???
I was told i cannot go higher than 6 Mbps on an Mv2 is this right???

Search this forum and the Apple DVDSP forum and you’ll find all the info you need. Also check out the Ken Stone site.

And: for encoding to m2v check out http://www.innobits.se and their Variable Bitrate Encoder, way better results than Apple compressor.

Yeah, check out the DVDSP forum, and also, check into getting a LaCie FastCoder. It’s a terrific hardware encoder, that you can now get for $75 bucks!
