best way to get component and analog audio into a DeckLink HD Pro?
We have a Decklink HD Pro in our mac pro running FCP 5 that we mainly use to monitor to a plasma through the component out. We need to capture a bunch of footage from a Betacam deck to, most likely, DV. what is the best/cheapest way to get the analog video and audio in? an adapter that goes from component and analog audio to sdi?

I’ve been looking at the Convergent Designs box (I think it’s the SD-connect) for a similar reason… they have a forum here on the Cow.
Seems to be a good combination of best vs. cheapest, but that depends on your needs.-jeff

I have a Datavideo DAC-30r converter and it does a beautifull job! It has all ins and outs.
